How refunds workAutomatic refundsCancellation and usageService issues

1. How refunds work

Purchases are handled by our payment reseller and Merchant of Record. When the last user deletes the account, unused purchased credit is automatically refunded after final usage and payments settle, capped at the remaining refundable purchase amounts. Your statutory withdrawal rights and remedies for a defective or misdescribed service remain protected. Using the service does not by itself establish a waiver of withdrawal rights.

Eligibility and timing depend on the transaction, the purchase terms provided when purchasing, and applicable law. This policy does not reduce any mandatory rights.

2. Automatic refunds

No refund request is needed or available for unused credit. Deleting the last user closes the account and starts the automatic refund process. Refunds return to the original payment methods through our payment reseller after outstanding usage and payments settle. Provider approval and processing times apply.

Refunds use whole cents and never exceed the unused balance or remaining refundable purchase amounts. Any sub-cent remainder stays recorded in the account’s billing history.

3. Cancellation and usage

Cancellation ends a billing arrangement; a refund returns a payment. They are separate. Account fees and metered usage are deducted from prepaid credit. Closing the account by deleting its last user starts an automatic refund of eligible unused purchased credit. Hosting cancellation alone does not issue a refund. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.

For cancellation, use your receipt’s management or support link. To stop generating hosting usage, remove hosted sites and stop new deployments. Cancelling a payment arrangement does not itself delete hosted files or close your Statiq account.

4. Service issues

For a persistent technical problem or a material defect, contact Double Arches Ltd at statiq@doublearches.com so we can investigate. If unresolved, use the support link in your receipt with the transaction and issue details.
