1. Who operates Statiq

Statiq is operated by Double Arches Ltd, company number 17490713, an active private limited company registered in the United Kingdom. Its registered office and business contact address is Suite Ra01 195-197 Wood Street, London, United Kingdom, E17 3NU.

Service and legal enquiries: statiq@doublearches.com. Double Arches Ltd is not VAT registered. Applicable purchase taxes may still be collected by our payment reseller.

2. The service

Statiq hosts static websites. It retrieves an authorised Git repository, builds static files in an isolated container, stores the published files, and serves them through a CDN. Custom domains include automatic TLS provisioning when correctly configured.

Each account has one Owner and may have unlimited Admins and Editors. Each user belongs to one account. A 30-day trial starts with the first successful build and does not require a card. The service is self-serve, with no guaranteed support response time or service-level agreement.

3. Your account and content

You must be authorised to connect each repository and domain you use. Keep your Git account and access credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and avoid placing secrets in published files or build logs. You are responsible for your site’s content, backups, and any notices or permissions required for your visitors.

You retain ownership of your content. You give us permission to retrieve, build, store, copy, and deliver it only as needed to provide and secure the service.

Do not use Statiq for unlawful content, phishing, malware, scams, impersonation, spam, infringement of others’ rights, or attempts to bypass usage limits or build isolation. Do not probe other customers’ sites or misuse the infrastructure.

4. Allowances, usage and payments

The account plan costs €1 per month including applicable tax, with unlimited members, 10 GB monthly bandwidth, 20 GB storage, 100 monthly build minutes and 1 million monthly HTTP requests. Sites and custom domains share these account allowances. Full usage definitions and rates are on the pricing page.

Paid service uses prepaid credit, with an initial €10 top-up. Account fees and opted-in extra usage are deducted separately. The first account fee is prorated; subsequent account fees are due at the UTC month boundary. Included allowances reset monthly without resetting credit or restarting the trial. Without extra-usage opt-in, included allowances are hard limits. Hosting may pause when a limit is reached, the trial expires or credit is exhausted.

Our payment reseller acts as Merchant of Record, handling payments, receipts and applicable VAT or sales tax. Its purchase terms are provided at checkout. We receive billing identifiers and status, not your full card details.

5. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the service, disconnect your repository, or remove your sites. For a billing arrangement, use the management or support link in your receipt to request cancellation. Cancelling payments and removing hosted content are separate actions; do not assume one performs the other.

We may restrict or suspend service for usage-limit breaches, non-payment, prohibited content, legal requirements, or a credible security risk. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to resolve it; urgent safety or legal action may require immediate suspension.

Usage already incurred remains subject to the billing terms. Cancellation does not itself create a refund; our refund policy, the purchase terms, and any mandatory rights apply. Contact us for account closure or personal-data requests.

6. Availability and liability

We take reasonable care in operating Statiq, but uninterrupted availability, particular performance, and error-free operation are not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, and security incidents can affect builds or delivery. Keep independent copies of your repository and important files.

For business customers, to the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for indirect losses, lost profits, or loss caused by content or systems outside our reasonable control. These terms do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Consumer statutory rights, including rights relating to reasonable care and skill or a defective service, remain unaffected.

7. Applicable law and updates

These service terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For business customers, disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence.

Material changes to service terms will be communicated before they apply where required by law. These terms are identified by their version and update date. Our privacy policy explains personal-data processing.
